The Ambridge Water Authority, along with (contractor) Underground Express is nearing completion of a long-awaited waterline extension on Shaffer Road.  When completed, the waterline will create a “loop” within our system infrastructure.  Having this in place gives AWA better control of our system in relation to things such as:  Water pressure control, identifying potential leaks & line-breaks, and furthermore, isolating line breaks, which lessens the number of potential service outages during any repairs or system maintenance.  This project will provide valuable options to The Ambridge Water Authority for years to come & like many of our Capital Projects:  Help AWA in our continual pursuit of maximizing our operating efficiency.
