Ambridge Water Authority, in collaboration with West View Water Authority, recently completed construction that established a second emergency interconnect between the two Authorities.  AWA’s second emergency interconnect with WVWA, is an 8 inch connection that taps into WVWA’s new 36” main line, which pumps water from WVWA’s newly completed Beaver County Water Treatment Plant.  Having this interconnect in place not only helps satisfy PA DEP emergency water source requirements, but provides assurance to AWA & our customers, that in the event of any type of emergency situation, we have the resources and procedures in place to continue providing water to all of our valued customers.
