Current Rates by elevation for a normal residential 5/8-3/4” meter are:

Billing Schedule
Quarter Bills are due the last business day of the months listed for each area and remain the same each year. Bills will be sent out a minimum of 7 days prior to the start of that billing month. Customers will have the entire month to pay their bills plus 10 business days prior to shutoff, in total a minimum of 45 days from initial due date. If payment is not made on the last day of the billing month which is listed on the bill, then a 10% penalty will be assessed the following business day.

Shut off for Delinquent Billing will begin 10 business days after the last day of the billing month listed for each area. Customers who are delinquent will be called, texted or called & texted during the 10 business day window to make payment in full. Customers who still have a balance after the 10 business day window will be scheduled for shutoff. If the shutoff day lands on a Friday, then shutoffs will begin the following Monday. Ex: Payments due May 1st through May 31st, 2025, shutoffs will begin on the 10th business day in June which is June 13th. Since June 13th is a Friday, then shutoffs will begin Monday June 16th.
$25.00 charge will occur once service is shut off:
Bills must be paid in full plus shut off fee $25 and turn on fee $25 before service is restored. There is a 24-hour wait after payment
before turn on occurs. Same day turn on is an addition $125.00 totaling $150.00. After hour turn on is additional
$200.00 totaling $250.00.
Service Fees
There are various service fees for special services. Some of the more common fees are:

Payment Plans
It is the customers responsibility to contact AWA to set up a payment plan. Payment plans are subject to approval by AWA staff based on several factors.
- Customer is required to contact AWA prior to water service being turned off or delinquent.
- Account cannot already be in a payment plan.
- Prior payment plans are to be followed, if prior payment agreement was missed or voided, then future payment plans are subject to approval by AWA management.
Additionally, customers can make their own payment plans and pay a portion of their bill monthly to avoid a quarterly bill. Some AWA customers send in monthly checks or set up payments online through their bank for monthly payments to be sent to AWA. Our staff can assist with projections and estimates on your account.
